Guest Editorial: Artificial Intelligence Enabled Internet of UAVs for Emergency Communications

The unprecedented demands for high-quality and ubiquitous wireless services impose enormous challenges to the existing cellular networks meet of connectivity, reliability, etc. targeted applications in designing beyond fifth generation (BSG) systems include enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), ultra-reliable, low latency communications (URLLC), massive machine-type (mMTC). Recently those diverse requirements, latest technologies like millimeter wave (mmWave) communications, ultra-dense (UDN), multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) are under consideration. Moreover, we also require an evolution architectural platform that performs joint sensing, localization, computing while ensuring ultra-high throughput, ultra-low latency, reliability real-time emergency communications.
